                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES TO
                   ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH T & C
                   CONSTRUCTION COMPANY RELATIVE TO RENOVATION
                   OF THE GROUND FLOOR AT THE BESSIE SMITH
                   HALL, PHASE II, BESSIE SMITH PROJECT, FOR A
                   CONSIDERATION OF TWO HUNDRED SEVENTEEN
                   THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE DOLLARS
                   ($217,573.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of General Services be and is hereby authorized to enter into a
       contract with T & C Construction Company relative to renovation 
of
       the ground floor at the Bessie Smith Hall, Phase II, Bessie Smith 

       Project, for a consideration of $217,573.00.
